Peanut Butter Bugs

Who doesn't like a nice crunchy bug? Especially for a Halloween dinner. After you have one of these tasty bugs, you'll be craving bugs every day of the year.




1/4 cup peanut butter
1 tablespoon wheat germ
1 tablespoon honey
2-1/2 tablespoons nonfat dry milk
Licorice shoestring candy

1. In a small mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, wheat germ, honey and milk. Mix until well blended. Mixture should have the consistency of clay.
2. Place a sheet of wax paper on a cookie sheet. Remove a scoop of the peanut butter mixture (enough to form 1-inch balls) and form mixture into snails, centipede or fly shapes. Set on wax paper.
3. Cut pieces of licorice to to make legs, eyes and antennae. stick the licorice into the bug shapes.
4. eat immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
