On some level psychic energy resides within every living creature. However, there is a reason they exist at the level they do.

Before giving a class on psychic abilities I will usually ask, "If you were granted the gift of clairvoyance for a day, starting today, would you want it?"

Although it brings forth a mixture of responses ranging from, "Of course why else would we be here?" to enthusiasm over all the imagined scenarios having such an edge might bring, the truth is, if they experienced it, most people would not.

First, envision seeing past the worldy illusion we live today. Once you did, what you would do? We live in a world where people want what they don't have, where discomfort is a driving force and although we may dedicate ourselves, to an extent, living differently a vast majority of the world would continue just the same.

What about the things people spend a great deal of time avoiding or trying to hide? The person may be a member of our community, workplace, church or even worse someone we love very deeply. Until a person is ready for you or anyone else to know anything about it, much of the energy you would use otherwise would be spent pretending you don't sense a thing. Even if you were to approached the topic it is very likely the person is still living in the illusion of validation and may not even know they are hiding anything or see anything wrong with it.

With practice, it is possible to pick and chose some of what we see. We don't have to spend our days and nights dreading life. Does this mean we will only sense negative or frightening things? Not necessarily.

The visions you do receive will not always hover around difficulties. However, to the person or business involved, unless sought after with the will and intent to act upon it, will undergoe resistance. The chain of cause which made the velocity of the message possible in the first place may increase (o.k. so you may have a few restless nights of sleep afterall)creating the sensation similar to waiting in a very long line during lunch hour.

These are just some of the responsibilties that go along with having psychic abilities. Remember, just as you would get in your car and try to avoid obnoxious drivers, by deciding to leave the house in the first place we place ourselves in a position to see more of them.

With a few realistic expectations, experiencing more than a random world of clear-seeing does not have to be overly challenging living in this one; An existing part of our lives ready for us to explore when we are ready to explore it!
