Victor is responsible for Victoria Newman’s comatose state! Though this is not Victor’s first run in with the law, it seems every time he does something wrong, he only receives minor punishments, if any. Let's take a walk down memory lane...

Bribery Charges 2004 –

Bribery is a serious offense. Victor, being the powerful icon that he is, had to have some influence over the judge. For Victor’s illegal actions, he received probation and community service at a homeless shelter. Because of Victor’s crime, we met a character that quickly became one of my favorites: Devon Hamilton. Devon was a homeless kid with a checkered past. He had a big chip on his shoulder and a fighting mentality. Victor met Devon while working in the shelter. As most of you may know, Victor is an avid boxer, so naturally Devon quickly became Victor’s protégé. Devon had a rough exterior that Victor worked hard to break through. Victor shared his touching story about his childhood and the obstacles he had to overcome to achieve his success. Victor played an integral part in turning Devon’s life around.

Clearsprings Collapse 2007 –

After the Clearsprings explosion, Victor threatened JT, Cain, and Katherine, indicating he wanted the people responsible for this disaster to suffer for the travesty they have caused. Further testing revealed that the explosion was due to the drilling work from Victor’s project. I will never forget the look on Victor’s face when this news emerged. And what made it even worse was that his archenemy, Jack Abbott, was present to witness Victor’s expression go from rage to astonishment. Victor has received harsh words from Nikki, Jack, Nick, and most of all, Brad. Now, Victor is feeling remorse and guilt - an emotion we rarely see him express.

The Future –

Well for this situation, I don’t have different scenarios or wishes. I only see one thing happening: once Victoria awakens, the Newman family will become closer, and we will witness another reunion between Nikki and Victor. David Chow is out of luck.
