The Universal Laws
The Universal Laws are the spiritual framework of who and what we are. They govern all things, and comprise the guidelines for our behavior and subsequently how that behavior effects our lives. They provide an expression of right living.
Everything in our Universe reflects Divine law and order. Without these higher laws in effect, the Universe itself would be in a state of eternal chaos. Universal Laws are the spiritual extensions of the physical laws in operation in our physical world. They govern all planes of existence, and provide order in the universe. All of the laws you are about to explore are interrelated. And, they hold the key to becoming a God-realized or totally enlightened being.
These laws hold a truth that cannot be altered. They comprise the foundation for life itself. They do not belong to any one religion or belief. They are the basic spiritual building blocks of our world.
In every faith or religion or belief system, we see them expressed. They are inherent within the Ten Commandments in Jewish and Christian faith, The Eightfold Path of Buddhism, the teachings of the Koran and the Kabbalah, and the ancient wisdom of the indigenous people from all over the Earth.
Everything is energy. And, energy always moves in a circular pattern. The planets move in a circular pattern, the Earth´s magnetic field flows in a circular pattern, as does the Earth´s electrical field. Electrons spin around the nucleus of an atom in a circular fashion.
The human body is actually comprised of whirling masses of energy. We are, in fact, energy beings of light. If we are energy beings of light, and energy moves in a circular pattern, then each one of us is a virtual energy generator.
Energy cannot be created or destroyed, according to basic physics. Energy can only be transformed from one form into another.
Everything in the universe is made up of energy, and that energy is all interconnected. Each of us is a whirling mass of electrons and atoms spinning rapidly within a bigger whirling mass of energy, within a bigger whirling mass of energy, and so on.
This sea of energy is sometimes called the God force, prana, chi, or the life force. We are all a part of this force field of energy which connects everything together.
Our thoughts are a part of that same energy. Everything we feel, say, and do constitutes a form of energy. Each and everyone of us is a composite of our thoughts, feelings, words and actions.
Everything we think, feel, say or do in each moment sends out an energy vibration in the universe that comes back to us as a part of our reality. Our consciousness is the "driver" of this energy, and our consciousness is programmed by the messages that we send out to one another. Therefore, when we focus on the results we wish to obtain, the energy we send out will allow us to obtain those results.
So, if we create our own reality.. where do we start? The answer is .. We start NOW.
Unfortunately, staying in the NOW is one of the hardest things for a human to do. We tend to focus our energies on what happened in the past, and what may happen in the future. The past is no longer real.. it is gone. So let it go!
What of tomorrow? Your thoughts, feelings words and actions of today have not yet created the future. So the future is not real either. So let the fear and anxiety associated with the "what ifs" go also.
Regrets from the past and fears about the future drain our energy and rob us of our ability to live fully in the moment. Thoughts like these weaken us and take away our visions, hopes and dreams.
The Law of Divine Unity tells us that everything we do, say, think, and believe affects others and everything around us. As we grow on a spiritual level, we learn to transmute negative thoughts, words, emotions and actions into positive ones. In this manner, we not only manifest that which is for the highest good into our own lives, but also out into the world around us.
The Law of Divine Unity refers to the Universal Mind. Everything in this universe is part of the Universal Mind of pure energy and light. The Universal Mind is consciousness, and everything is a part of that consciousness, the plants, the minerals, and all the beings that exit within the universe.
This state of Oneness or tapping into the Universal Mind is sometimes achieved by meditation, dance, drumming, chanting, praying, etc. This is the bliss of the Yogis and the ecstacy of the Sufi whirling dervishes.
The key to totally residing in the state of Divine Unity is the ablilty to remain calm, balanced and at peace during all situations.
When you become aware of how your thoughts, actions, and words can effect others, you also learn to become more self aware of what you are thinking, doing or saying. You begin to understand the importance of heartfelt listening.
You begin to learn to discern rather than to judge. You may discern that a certain action is "wrong" without judging the person who was responsible for the action.
As you work within the Law of Divine Unity, you also find that you begin to feel and hear the "heartbeat" of the Earth. It will become evident that what we do on an individual basis to the planet we live upon effects not only ourselves, but every other living being upon it.
Understanding the Law of Divine Unity places the responsibility for your own actions squarely upon your own shoulders, including the consequences of those actions.
