To celebrate the launch of a new support group for Adults with Autism and Aspergers Syndrome through the Los Angeles chapter of the Autism Society of America, the chapter has partnered with Nortridge Family Focus Resource & Empowerment Center to present an evening with Jerry and Mary Newport.

"The FFREC is an informational, referral, supportive and educational organization serving families of: infants with or who are at-risk for developmental delays, children and adults with disabilities, and the professionals who work with them in the San Fernando, Santa Clarita and Antelope Valleys."

This will be a private screening and book signging of Mozart And The Whale: An Asperger's Love Story. Special guest appearance by Johnny Dodd, co-author of Mozart and the Whale.

This free event takes place on Saturday, May 19, 2007 from 6 to 9 PM at The Help Group at 13130 Burbank Boulevard, Sherman Oaks, CA 91401. Since seating is limited you will need to RSVP by calling (562) 804-5556, extension 3.
