Cafe Tenuta Located in Casino MonteLago. It is nice to find 24-hour café style dining that feels upscale... in a casino.

The Cafe' serves breakfast, lunch and dinner menu including large steaks, fresh seafood, salads, huge sandwiches, and pasta.

The Cafe' Tenuto is at one side of the Casino MonteLago, in a quiet corner, and the service and food were outstanding and the ambience was old world!

It appears that the Tenuta is also the best value in Lake Las Vegas with meals ranging from $8 - $10. Menu's are posted on the outside of each restaraunt in MonteLago Village...don't you just love that?


Seasonal outdoor dining is available on a ground level where you get a fabulous view of the MonteLago Village and Resort. Outdoor speakers and plants add to the relaxing village style setting. Shaded tables were set up all day, although the building shaded the area in the afternoon.

This restaraunt does not have a view of the lake, and the inside dining area offers only a view of the village street. A very large window lets in a ton of light and the ceilings are two story, so the dark italian colors are not overwhelming.

WHAT WE ATE
*Salmon-Cucumber-Tomato open face sandwich on potato bread and fries.
*Roasted-Vegitable including a variety of squash and eggplant sandwich - fries.
*Callamari - Huge! Fried in a wonderful light batter.
*Portobello Fries - Huge! So yummy and different.
*Spaghetti with Meatballs - also Huge! Large bowl with giant Meatball!

All the food was fantastic and served quickly and hot. The room was 3/4 full, but not noisy. Even though this wonderful little cafe is located in the corner of the casino...you didn't hear the usual casino noises while dining.

Always remember to look up while in Las Vegas. Casinos tend to decorate every area including the ceiling with something spectacular!

The waitstaff was excellent and the coffee was good, hot and strong. This cafe' also has a large wine list... I mean Large!
