I love to write. It is a passion that fuels my life. However, sometimes I need to take a complete and total break. I need to recharge my mind and my batteries so to speak.

When these times arrive, I shut everything off as far as my writing is concerned. I look for ways to distract my mind from the current writing project at hand. Many times a good long walk in nature helps to refuel myself, other times I need some quiet reading time.

Then there are times when nothing short of fun will do. Like a child again, I need to play and forget the adult world for a little while. Now I can't do this a lot. However, I can and do schedule times to play in the dirt in my garden. I find some new fun stores to explore using my child's point of view. I even watch funny movies or simply sing relaxing songs in my mind.

Another great stress relief and fun activity is to play word games. Sometimes just taking a short break to play an online game of hangman or word search clears my mind and energizes my batteries.

To help you to find some down time and to kick back and use your mind in a fun and challenging way, I have added some new words to my site's hangman, word search, and word scramble games.

You can play one or more whenever you feel the desire to have some fun. All the words are related to writing of course : - )
