John McClane is a New York cop who travels to Los Angeles to spend the Christmas holidays with his family. He unexpectedly arrives at the Nakatomi Building to surprise his estranged wife, Holly. Unfortunately this wasn’t a good idea due to him showing up in the middle of the company’s Christmas party and for the fact that the building has been taken over by terrorists, led by Hans Gruber, whose ultimate goal is to break into the building’s vaults and flee with $600 million in bonds. When everyone else is taken hostage, it’s up to John to save the day. Here are a few movie mistakes to look for while watching “Die Hard”.

· Argyle picks up John at the airport with the limo at the beginning of the movie. John is carrying a teddy bear with him which he also brings along for the ride. While they’re riding to the Nakatomi Building, in a view through the car’s windshield, John is sitting in the passenger seat next to Argyle while the teddy bear can be seen in the middle of the back seat. Argyle looks in the limo’s rear view mirror and the bear is sitting next to the door.

· The terrorists use a truck to get to Nakatomi Building. It’s clear that there is no ambulance in the truck when the terrorists get out of it. But near the end of the movie, Theo tries to get away and drives an ambulance out of it right before he’s stopped by Argyle and the limo!

· John McClane is fighting one of the terrorists. The two of them fall down the stairs and the terrorist is killed. John puts the body in the elevator and writes a message for Hans and the other terrorists. The elevator doors open and the terrorist’s eyes are open. But in the side view of him when Hans moves his head, the terrorist’s eyes are now closed.

· John’s shirt gets dirtier and ragged as the film goes on. But when John first talks to Hans over the radio, his shirt is dirtier. It’s lighter, a bit cleaner when John finally meets Hans in the walkway but it’s dirtier, after he has to dig the glass out of his feet.

“Die Hard” (1988) stars Bruce Willis, Bonnie Bedelia, Alan Rickman, Reginald VelJohnson, William Atherton De’voreaux White, Clarence Gilyard Jr and Paul Gleason. It runs 131 minutes and is rated R for intense sequences of strong bloody violence throughout, pervasive language, some sexuality/nudity and drug use.
