Brief History: This company has a pretty young history. It all started with two moms freezing their butts on the sidelines of their kids' soccer games. Talk about love, support and commitment. In 2004, Marla Massel and Lynne Hefter came up with the idea for a machine washable and most importantly functional pull over that was warm, comfortable and looked good to boot. With increased success this duo became a trio in 2005 when Patti Simon joined the fold. They still carry the original design as well as a few updates. They are in the process of expanding their customer base from bleacher parents to the general public via Mas-Ter Mind, LLC.
Product: Zip Front Cape
Description: Double layer, reversible, anti-pill artic fleece with a pocket inside and out. The original design was a pullover but this one is a zip front. Heavy gauge plastic two way zipper and pristine stitching. It measures (folded) approximate 57" wide and 39" from shoulder down. The corners are rounded. It has a loose hood.
Packaging: Arrived compact, folded and secured with a satin ribbon with company name on it.

Comments: I'm so impressed with the stitching on this item. If you do any sewing you know how hard it is to sew doubled seams on thick fabric. Imagine doing it with 4-6 layers of fleece. The heavy duty two way zipper sticks a bit at the pocket area but that's because there are so many extra layers. Still the stitching looks great and matches fabric so it isn't noticeable.
This is a very large and very heavy cape. I was shocked at the weight of this cape. I'm looking forward to wearing it this winter. It is definitely not something you would find in your local clothing store. As for sizing. They only come in one size. This particular cape fits up to size 26 for sure. I'm sure it would fit a couple sizes up. You can see from the picture how roomy they are. I have not washed mine yet but they are labeled as machine washable and tumble dry low. The reversible two way colour allows you to match with your wardrobe or cover up stains. Another nit-pick is about the reversibility. There's the company tag and washing instructions on one side. The cape is still wearable with hood down but if you need to use the hood you have a tag showing on one side. They have numerous colour combinations and will make to request but you'll have to be patient as it takes 3-4 weeks. Special orders are final sales.
Satisfaction: Very pleased. It's not only good for bleacher parents but can be a regular item of any plus size person's wardrobe (man or woman). When they say one size fits most, it really does. The zip front makes it dressier than the pullover so there's no problem using this for every day wear. This item will be added to my yearly list of recommended gifts.
