Post Weight loss SabotageHave you reached your weightloss goal or are you so close you can taste victory? Do you find yourself sabotaging your success more often than you would like to admit? Why does this happen and how do you stop it? The guide below tells you all you need to know to keep that weight off. Too Good To Be True If you're this type of person you truly and honestly believe that you don't deserve success. You don't like the focus of attention being on you, feel selfish, guilty, or self conscious because you are now at your best and perhaps others around you are not at theirs. Solution: Step back and think about how much work it took you to get there. If you worked as hard to obtain a degree, house, car, or family, would you want to give those things back? Probably not! So your weight isn't any different. You worked hard to lose it so next time you're about to sabotage think about the hours spent on cardio or calorie counting and whether what you're about to do is worth it. It's Too Difficult To Maintain If you think it's tough to eat healthy 90% of the time, exercise regularly, or make the right choices then guess what you're right! But what in life isn't tough. Everything in life is a challenge including finding the perfect pair of jeans to fit your new tight booty. Solution: Make a lifetime plan and stick to it. You have retirement plans, vacation plans, college tutuiton for the kids plans, so why not a stay skinny plan. It's a routine that you'll hardly deviate from that will allow you a bit more freedom but not so much that you end up back where you started. Write it out and stick to it and maintaing that loss will only get easier. Life's Too Short Yes we all agree that life is too short and that we should be having fun so why bother with calorie counting, daily cardio sessions, organic food shopping, and so on? Why bother going to work, brushing your teeth, or keeping in touch with your parents? None of those are fun either but you still have to do it. Life should definitely be more fun than not but not at the expense of your health. Solution: Find ways to make your maintenance plan fun. If you know you have to be on your best behavior most of the time then why not make it enjoyable. Try a new type of exericise or find new exercise buddies. Plan out healthy dinners with friends, etc. Figure out ways to cheat without losing control. If you like your maintenance plan you're more likely to stick to it. All My Other Problems Seem Much Bigger This is by far the biggest problem encountered by successful losers. Now that the weight is off everything else wrong with your life is magnified to the 10th power. Your focus is no longer on your body so all your other problems are huge. It's always a big surprise to all that being thin isn't everything you thought it would be in the happiness dept. Solution: Look at how you tackled your weight issue and succeeded then apply that same drive and determination to other areas of your life that are in need of improvement. If you look at your weightloss success positively then all other areas of your life will start to fall into place as well. Awesome Tips On How To Keep The Weight Off
