Ab Circuit Tips

So you've switched over to ab circuit workouts for more intense ab workouts and increased fatloss but what if you want to burn belly fat even faster? Below you'll find great ab exercises and top tips that trainers use with their clients to burn belly fat and get lean abs in no time.

Prone Ab Exercises
Any ab exercise that requires you to face the floor will work your abs much harder than laying or hanging ab moves. Then you add in the movement factor and the abs have to work even harder to stabilize your body so you don't face plant. The toughest prone (prone is fancy trainer talk for face down) ab exercises are knee-ins, pikes, mountain climbers and crawls and they can be done with various types of fitness equipment including gliding discs, suspension trainer, stability ball, power wheel, and even towels! Check out the best ab workouts gear shop to get what you need. If you're a beginner prone exercises may be a bit too tough so you may want to start by adding just one move to your ab circuit or try adding one or two to your full body workout. Watch my hot abs workout video to see how.

Combine Cardio Intervals and Ab Exercises
Trainers know that clients are busy and don't have much spare time to workout on their own so they include cardio sprints, jump rope intervals, and dynamic fullbody strength moves that burn belly fat during the ab workout. After your ab circuit get up and get moving. Do anything that involves fullbody movement and that also works the abs i.e. running, jumping jacks, jump squats, mountain climbers, rope climbs, boxing. Then go back and forth between ab circuit workouts and cardio intervals and you'll start seeing great results within a week.

Multi-Directional Resistance Band Moves
Using a resistance band is a great way to blast fat and work the abs especially when you incorporate movement from all directions. As you train the entire body using the bands the abs have to work hard to keep you from crashing into the wall or machine where your band is attached. In some cases the band is attached to a partner so abs workout harder to prevent people from crashing into each other.
