Dupont Quick Detailer With Teflon Review
After a friend saw a commercial on TV about Dupont's Car Care with Teflon, she told me about it and I had to check it out. I was first impressed with the very respected name of Dupont. A company that is innovative and quite in tune with the consumer and our needs today. I sent them an email and requested a sample of their wax and they sent me their Quick Detailer from their Teflon line. I was also impressed with the addition of caranuba wax in it. Wow, Teflon and Caranuba Wax in a quick detailer!
When I test a product, I first test its user-friendliness--is it easy to use? I found that all I had to do was spray the Quick Detailer onto the recently waxed surface and wipe off with a microfiber towel. The package suggests a "towel" or microfiber towel. I have always found that any other towel will not produce a streak-free shine like microfiber. I liked the fast, clean shine I got from just a couple of wipes. My finish was very clear and mirror-like.
I continued to mist and wipe the entire vehicle. I used it on the windows and mirrors and got a clear, streak-free shine. I was impressed.
I finished my car in less than an hour and only used one medium-sized towel. Dupont's Quick Detailer gets the job done with impressive results. I liked the fact that my finish was protected with Teflon, one of the greatest inventions since the automobile. As far as longevity, I can only guess it would last a week if you don't use it daily. I always wipe my vehicles down each evening (provided there's no rain) to remove the days oxidation. This is how I achieve the smooth flawless finish we have. At the end of every day, we all should do this. If we were to run our fingers across our finishes at the end of every day, we could feel the grime that gets on our vehicles' finish. Quick datailers are also great for removing the day's bugs, tar and tire spray that occurs from normal travel.
If you want to preserve and restore your finish and have an awesome shine, you must do a quick detailing every day to prevent any foreign substances from sticking to your finish. It doesn't take long and you can be road ready every morning!
Drive safely.
