The following products are some of my favorites. I have been viewing, reading and using each of the various items for years and have received no compensation for the following reviews and suggestions.
“The Horse That Could Not Trot” – by Jean Luc Cornille. An incredible lesson in proper schooling as related to the biomechanics of the horse. Incredibly detailed graphics combined with footage of work on a physically damaged horse as he progresses toward better movement is unparalleled in any way. Mr. Cornille is, without question, a modern day Equestrian Master whose background in equine biomechanics, training and instruction offers a superior and unique perspective for your horse. This is a must have for anyone interested in proof that they are doing the right thing for their horse.

“Schooling Horses in Hand” by Richard Hinrichs – this DVD clearly demonstrates the value of work in-hand. The videography is always right on target following precisely along with the narrative. This is not for equestrian beginners but is a wonderful way for experienced horse people to learn an invaluable new set of skills to add to their equine schooling. This can be purchased at Amazon and in many horse tack shops and catalogues.
Eqyss Grooming Products – These are all cruelty-free, plant-based products that do a great job of taming even the most unruly wild equine locks.
I love Eqyss Rehydrant spray for keeping the dust out of my horses’ long winter coats. Spray it on – back brush through the coat – then brush normally and your horse will gleam.
Eqyss Survivor Detangler lasts for days and days and leaves the mane and tail silky and knot-free. It also helps keep dirt and stains from setting in.
Eqyss Micro-Tek spray takes care of all sorts of skin scurf. It lasts for 24 hours and also helps the area heal. I also use it on the inner surface of my sheets and blankets to help eliminate any fungal or bacterial build up between washes.
Eqyss Mega-Tek rebuilder works great on rubs from blankets, worms or boredom. This amazing product helped a horse grow hair at the base of the tail where she had no hair for over five years.
You can purchase these items in most tack stores and catalogues but I suggest a visit to their website for more information about these and their other exceptional products.

Of course what is holiday time without a few treats on hand. Since peppermint is the flavor of the season I like or I should say all the horses in the barn like Buckeye Peppermints Bits. They are available in most feed stores and tack store and catalogues.
Ginger Ridge Vanilla Flax treats are a staple in my barn. Not only do the horses love them but all the dogs do as well. These too are available in most feed stores and tack stores and catalogues.
Happy Holidays everyone!
