Robert S. Woods
Robert S. Woods was born in Maywood, CA on March 13th, 1948. He is the award winning actor who originated the character of Bo Buchanan on the ABC Soap Opera ?One Life To Live?. The Character Bo Buchanan first appeared on the show in 1979 and quickly became a favorite of the viewers. In 1982 woods won an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor.
After six years of playing the role Woods took a break to pursue other acting venues. In 1988 he returned to his role on ?One Life To Live? and has been giving great performances since. The scenes between his then on screen wife Nora where very popular with the fans. They even had some wonderful dance scenes. His character remains an important part of the show after all this time.
Among the many appearances he has made on television, you may remember him from his role as Dr. David Spencer on the show ?The Waltons? as well as his appearances on ?Family? and ?Newhart?. He also appeared in films such as ?The China Syndrome?.
Woods and his wife Loyita Chapel live in upstate New York. They have a son, Tanner. Hopefully he will be around a long time as Bo Buchanan to entertain and amuse his audience.
