Candlemaking Associations

This is a brief listing of some candlemaking organizations. I will be adding more content as I go along.


The National Candle Association (NCA) is the major trade association representing U.S. candle manufacturers and their suppliers.

Founded in 1974, NCA acts as the collective voice for the candle industry in promoting the safe use and enjoyment of candles, pursuing product excellence through quality formulation, monitoring and responding to issues impacting the industry, and advancing the industry as a whole.

Latin American Candle Association Created in 1999 as a not for profit organization to promote the candle industry.

The Chandler Guild is an on-line community for solo, family-based, and small business candlemakers using environmentally-friendly soybean wax.

International Guild of Candle Artisans was established in 1965 to promote and share the art of candlemaking.
