New Short and Stylish Haircuts
This very short style is easy to do, taking only about 10 minutes, and is versatile.
It is trimmed to about one and a half inches all over. The entire style is then texturized to create varying lengths throughout. This creates a very piecy and fringy look. Texturizing can also help to create shape in very thick hair.
After shampooing and conditioning with products that provide body for your hair, towel blot and apply a liberal amount of firm hold styling glaze.
Pull down spiky bangs on your forehead and arrange the fringe around your ears.
Ruffle the rest of your hair with your hands as you dry it with a diffuser. You can allow it to dry naturally, scrunching it as it drys.
If your hair tends to lie flat, try this technique as you dry it.
Place the palm of your hand flat on your head and rub, forming little circles – about the circumference of a fifty cent piece. This causes your hair to tangle and stand up.
Patiently continue this until your hair is dry and you will have a brushy, scrunched style.
After your hair is dry, scrunch in hair cream or hair wax to create more texture. Spray it lightly with a flexible hold hairspray if needed.
You can refresh it through the day by simply ruffling it with your fingers.
For a change of mood:
Shampoo and condition with body building products.
Apply a liberal amount of firm hold styling glaze.
With your blow dryer set on low, comb your hair with your fingers as you direct the front to the side, sweeping the bangs to the side.
Ruffle the crown for height and texture, using the circular method described above.
Accessorize this style for a dressy party, prom or even a wedding.
Insert a thin pearl or rhinestone encrusted headband at the dividing point between the smoothed front and ruffled crown.
LC Legacy Styling System Every styling product contains sunscreen so that you can layer on protection.
