This looks like a really unique fundraiser to benefit children on the Autism Spectrum. Aqua Pro Swim School is the site for the Pool for Persons with Autism Learning to Swim. This program includes monthly free pizza and pool parties, a summer surf camp along with scholarships for individualized one-on-one swimming instructions for those with autism.

The San Diego County Chapter of the Autism Society has a general donation box at the site for anyone to donate to this worthy FUNdraiser. Registration for the surf camp starts in April with a waiting list.




The date for this Event is Saturday, March 4, 2006 from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm at the Boys & Girls Club of San Diego, 4635 Clairemont Mesa Boulevard in San Diego.

There is no fee to register a team with no restrictions on the number of team members. Every participant receives some goodies with hourly "Swimmer in the Pool" prizes. A prepared breakfast and lunch will be served by San Diego Firefighters.
