Mariah Carey Kelly Clarkson take home Grammy Awards
Congratulations to all the women in music who took home a Grammy last night at the 48th Annual Grammy Award celebration.

Mariah Carey's performance was one of the best of the night. She also took home three Grammys for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance, Best R&B Song, and Best Contemporary R&B Album.

Kelly Clarkson took home two Grammy's in the following categories: Best Female Pop Vocal Performance and Best Pop Vocal Album.

Other winners were:

shared Best R&B Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals with Stevie Wonder for "So Amazing" on the album - An All Star Tribute To Luther Vandross (Various Artists).

Another performance off the "All Star Tribute to Luther Vandross" won--Aretha Franklin took home the honors for Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance.

Best Country Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal winner is Alison Krauss And Union Station for Restless.

The lovely couple Faith Hill & Tim McGraw took home the grammy for Best Country Collaboration With Vocals for the song Like We Never Loved At All.

The Best Country Album honors goes to Lonely Runs Both Ways
(Alison Krauss And Union Station).

Dianne Reeves wins the Best Jazz Vocal Album for Good Night, And Good Luck.

CeCe Winan wins for Best Gospel Performance and Best Contemporary Soul Gospel Album.

Best Gospel Song goes to Yolanda Adams.

Amy Grant wins for Best Southern, Country, or Bluegrass Gospel Album.

Best Gospel Choir Or Chorus Album winner Gladys Knight.

Shakira won Best Latin Rock/Alternative Album
