The weekends at Get Crafty Studios are designed as a place for women to get away from the “real world” and have uninterrupted time to work on their scrapbooks and spend time with friends, as well as make new friends! The weekends are unstructured time for ladies to be comfortable and scrapbook or craft, you can even stay in your pajamas all day if you wish! Leave your watch at home because the Get Crafty Studios staff will do all of the cooking and cleaning for you!


The focus of the weekend is of course the scrapbooking. Large tables are provided, with plenty of room for you to set up all of your supplies and have plenty of room to scrap. Each scrapbooker brings her own supplies, however, loads of great tools are available at the studio for everyone to use, including a Sizzix die cut machine with over 6 different fonts and many more dies,Quickcuts, lots of punches, computer, printer, scanner, sewing machine, light table, heat embossing gun, paints, stamps and much more. Supplies, including a large selection of paper, diecuts, stickers, adhesives and embellishments are also available for sale at very reasonable prices.

The food at the studio is always a big hit. The best part being that you don’t have to cook it! The food that is served at the studio cafe is so popular that guests have requested a recipe section on the studio website! When you stay for the weekend you get 5 meals. Breakfast is continental with great choices. Lunch and dinner are favorite recipes that have been collected by the studio staff.

The Get Crafty Studio and Resort is housed in a charming brick building in the heart of historic downtown Parkersburg, WV. Diana, a frequent weekend guest of the studio, says the accomodations are very cozy and it truly feels like you have entered a different world where you can relax and be inspired to scrapbook.
