Princess Ann Claire Review
Ann Claire is a country music singer who brings a regal and rocking spirit to her songs and music. As an offspring of real-life royalty, this genuine princess had goals to grow up to be a country singer and songwriter, and now this “Honkytonk Princess” is finally living her dream.
Originally born in the Middle East, this princess grew up in both London and Los Angeles, and was schooled in England, Switzerland and Spain before attending the University of Southern California to major in film and television arts. She then went on to theatre and voice studies at San Francisco’s American Conservatory Theatre. Ann Claire’s passion and determination for writing and singing songs propelled her to make her mark in the music industry instead of living a royal life of privilege and status.
Princess Ann Claire’s debut CD “Honkytonk Princess” was released on February 21, 2012 and was co-produced by Grammy nominated songwriter Travis Howard and Maxwell Abrams. Ann Claire co-wrote eight of the albums 12 songs with lyrics that are about living a full, heartfelt life – with plenty of good times! Her CD debuted with a fresh blast of contemporary country and a rocking pop kick that’s rich with emotional and musical depth.
Songs like “Lucky Me,” “Go with me,” and “Let’s go to Mexico!” are spunky, charming, fiery and overall fun, where as “If I Leave Here Tonight,” “The Way That I Do,” “Good Enough,” and “Getting Good at This” are songs that deal with heartache, love, family affairs and overall matters of the heart. The CD “Honkytonk Princess” has a song for every music lover and country fan, no matter what theme or sound you’re in the mood for.
Gaining her musical inspiration from country leading ladies such as Dolly Parton and Shania Twain, Ann Claire’s goal for her future is to inspire a powerful sense of self and character in others. Her hit song “Honkytonk Princess” is dedicated to all the woman in the world as Ann believes that every woman is a princess, and every little girl and woman has a princess spirit. Ann Claire explains that a princess spirit is a spirit of dignity, integrity, self-respect, compassion, patience and going above and beyond what’s expected of you.
During her spare time, she devotes her energy to causes that are dear to her heart, such as fostering rescue dogs and helping the Humane Society, the ASPCA and the organization Share Our Strength which works to end childhood hunger in America.
“This has never been for me about being famous or rich,” Ann Claire explains. “Those things are not of interest to me at all. All I’ve ever wanted to do is write great songs and make a difference in the world, and sing and present them in a way where they will affect people. I feel like this is my destiny, and I’m pretty excited about my future,” she concludes. “It has been such a long journey, but what I do now as a country songwriter and artist is so important to me and so rewarding. I can’t live without it. It gives me life, it makes me whole.”
