Planning an event of grandeur, especially a wedding, costs alot of money! Despite the fact that the ceremony is supposed to be a ceremony to pledge your love to one another, let's face it- every bride wants to have her guests gasp in awe at her wedding! And I have yet to plan, or attend, a wedding that has not had flowers in some form or another: petals, blossoms, twigs, leaves, you get what I mean. While the flowers are a large portion of the wedding budget, there are ways to get around this, and one way is to RENT your wedding flowers!

You may not even have known that this option existed before, or figured that rented flowers were "cheesy". But I have found this company called "Flowers for Rent" that is anything but! This company, based out of Walla Walla, WA, was founded in 1998 and 80% of its business is renting flowers for weddings. You select your flowers, they ship them to you, and afterward you ship them back.

You may have looked into purchasing silk flowers at a local craft store and doing them yourself, which is certainly another way to save, but the flowers this company offer are beyond compare. And many of the rental prices are comparable to what you would pay doing it yourself -with professional results and without the time involved!

The flowers have a latex coating on them for their realistic appearance, and they are as close to real that you can get, without the scent! This is particularly helpful if anyone has allergies! Even the stems on these flowers look like the real thing!

Flowers for Rent offers a tremendous variety of flowers and colors, and if you aren't happy with what they have created for you, they will do it again until you are. Few wedding vendors offer this type of service!

I know it sounds like I must have some sort of ties with this company, or am involved with them in some way, but I assure you, I am not!
