Green Beans with Almonds Recipe

Green Beans with Almonds

Yield: 5 servings

1 lb frozen French-cut green beans
1 Tbsp margarine or butter
3 Tbsp sliced almonds
1/2 tsp dried dill
1/4 tsp salt substitute

Cook the green beans according to package directions
just until tender. Drain off the excess liquid.

Place the margarine or butter in a large nonstick skillet
and melt over medium heat. Add the almonds and saute for
about 1 minute, or just until they begin to turn color
(be careful not to burn them). Add the green beans, dill,
and salt to the almonds and toss to mix. Serve hot.
