Their son, Director Gabriel Bologna made over 70 gourmet pizzas from scratch in the Bologna’s wood fired oven outside next to the pool and the Bocci ball courts where Beverly Hills publicist Edward Lozzi was handing out cigars and playing Bocci with pal Joe Bologna. A jazz band played good and loud and over 100 invited gladhanders stopped by to toast Jonah for his Golden Globe and SAG Award nominations. Celebrities making merry included Elliot Gould, Shirley Jones, Frances Fisher, Chuck McCann, Robert Loggia, Sally Kirkland, the VanPatten family, Joe Cortese, Candy Clark, Terry Moore, Dyan Canon, Robert Forster, Bruce Davison, John Savage, Michael Nouri, and Bai Ling. Many Oscar nominees and winners were among the guests.
