American Cheerleader
This magazine is primarily geared toward youth and teens who cheer and secondly their coaches. The magazine has incorporated the now defunt American Cheerleader Junior into a special youth section of the magazine. Each edition provides how-tos for different stunts and cheers. For libraries on a budget it is an affordable and popular choice. There is an American Cheerleader website.

Inside Cheerleading, is focused on older competitive cheerleaders, along with their coaches. There are serious articles on training, performance, and competitions. The Inside Cheerleading site often offers the best subscription price. An excellent choice for school and academic libraries serving competitive cheerleading patrons.

Cheering often begins at an early age, as young as five-years-old. This book is intended to give parents an understanding of Cheering as a sport. Those involved with cheer sport themselves as teens often volunteer to coach squads at school. This book is an excellent resource for the beginner or experienced cheer coach. There are detailed photographs and descriptions of stunts, choreography, safety information, and how to begin a cheerleading team. This book will also benefit teen cheerleaders and squadleaders.
