Tasmania in 20 Days - Itinerary
Because Tasmania is a relatively small island, tourists are afforded a very thorough travelling experience on this wonderful island without the expense of having to stay over a long period of time.. I have travelled throughout Tasmania over 20 days and covered approximately 90% of the island and its attractions.
Tasmania is unique in that it is considered by world authorities to be one of the last remaining old growth forested islands existing in the world. Tasmania boasts a wonderful convict history and a large section of its fauna and flora is amongst the rarest in the world. There are many thousands of square kilometres that are locked away as world heritage National Parks.
I suppose if I were asked to name one thing that Tasmania is celebrated for is its unique forests. These are not found anywhere else in the world and as such are a magnet for many international visitors who would like to experience this matchless and irreplaceable asset that really belongs to the world’s peoples.
I would like to record my travels, for those visitors who are considering a 20 day stay in Tasmania. I will write about my travel experiences, to whet the appetites of those considering a trip “down under, under” if you know what I mean!!
This holiday extended over 20 days and including travelling to and from the island.
