Great Gift Card Ideas for RVers
Christmas is just around the corner, and if you’re anything like me, you haven’t even started shopping for holiday gifts. Perhaps you just have been too busy. Or possibly shopping in crowded stores just isn’t your thing so you’re putting it off. Or maybe you just plain haven’t figured out what to get that special RVer in your life. Whatever your situation is—do not fear. RVers are pretty notorious about frequenting the same places, so if you haven’t yet figured out the perfect gift, how about getting them the perfect gift card to one of their favorite hangouts? Below are several ideal gift card ideas for RVers.
Fuel Gift Card
Since RVers can often be found traveling from here to there, a handy dandy gift card that they can use toward the purchase of fuel would be a fabulous holiday treat. If you know that your favorite RVer prefers stopping at Love’s Travel Stops, get them a Love’s gift card. Otherwise, choose a gift card from any of the major gas stations and you’ll be guaranteed that your thoughtful gift will be used.
Restaurant Gift Card
A gift card to one of your special RVer’s favorite national restaurant chains would be a great gift idea. Cracker Barrel tops the list of preferred RV restaurants. Others A-listers include Perkins, Denny’s, IHOP, Chili’s, California Pizza Kitchen and Olive Garden. There are also gift cards available that include multiple restaurants owned by a single corporation. These come in handy for the RVer who travels far and wide and might run into an issue with using his or her gift card in a particular geographic region.
Grocery Store Gift Card
There’s not a single RVer I know who wouldn’t like a Walmart gift card. But if you think that’s too cliché, how about a gift card to Kroger, Publix, Albertson’s or Safeway? RVers have to buy groceries. In fact, if you want your special RVer to purchase healthier groceries, get them a gift card to Whole Foods.
Camping and RVing Supplies
Getting a Camping World gift card would make the holidays brighter for practically any RVer. While Camping World tops the list of RV supply stores that RVers love, there are a few other places RVers like to shop too. For your rugged outdoorsman or outdoorswoman, a Bass Pro Shop, REI or Cabela’s gift card would also make great gifts.
