CorePower Yoga Online for Business Travelers
Registering for the on demand services is easy and self explanatory. First, go to the CorePower Yoga homepage. Across the top orange banner you will find a link to “Yoga On Demand”. Click the link and scroll down to the bottom of the page. Click the link that says “Access the Yoga on Demand Video Library Now!”. A new window will appear where you can register as a first-time user of the service. The information requested is very basic, such as name, address, etc.
Once you have registered, you have several choices to cater to your needs while traveling. First, you can take advantage of the FREE trial week of on demand access to CorePower Yoga online. This is a good way to see if the program works for you as a traveler. Are you comfortable with your practice while in a space such as a hotel room? Can you commit without a leader there guiding you to be “present” during your asanas? Do yoga and travel mix well for you?
If you are committed to your practice, and do well with online guidance, the different subscription options are user-friendly and likely worthwhile. You can subscribe for a day ($4.99), or choose a monthly recurring subscription that renews automatically. A one month subscription is $14.95, three months is $29.95, six months is $59.95, and a year’s subscription is $99.95. These prices include technical support (and may change without notice, so check the website).
There are over 70 on demand videos for your yoga and meditation practice which are updated frequently if you access the library often. The videos range from beginners to advanced levels of practice. There are no advertisements, so there are no distractions, unless you create them. Once you have paid for a particular subscription, your access is unlimited. Maybe you might find a particular relaxing feature that you will like to move through as part of your practice upon checking in to your hotel after a long flight. Maybe you will find a particular video class that you may want to incorporate into your practice before a stressful meeting or event.
Also, the podcasts are free and readily available on the homepage. Each podcast focuses on general themes and introductions to yoga, but also to particular asanas (poses) that you can explore in the comfort of your hotel room.
Again, if your travels take you through any of the locations where a CorePower studio is located, “drop in” on a class for that extra in-person motivation and guidance. Your membership travels with you and class types and schedules are available online. However, if you are stuck in town with no access to such a resource, CorePower Yoga’s online access to yoga classes allows tailoring your practice to suit your life, and your life to suit your practice.
