Mickey and Minnie Mouse are now in Hong Kong, China. They are not there for a short visit. The Mouse family plus Winnie the Pooh, Goofy and friends have a new home, Hong Kong Disneyland, China. Lantau Island is Disneyland’s location. The park consists of 310 acres. Hong Kong Disneyland has the four main theme parks, Main Street USA, Fantasyland, Adventureland and Tomorrowland. There are two Disney hotels.
Disneyland's Cinderella in Hong Kong is Mulan. The star of the movies of the same name. Of course, she speaks Chinese and interacts with the visitors.
There are the amusement rides plus other attractions designed especially for Hong Kong Disneyland. Restaurants serve the usual park fare, but there are noodles, dim sum and more in the Main Street Corner Cafe plus in other sites. Instead of hamburgers, there are pork patty sandwich with water chestnuts.
Like all Disney Parks, there are activities for all ages. Hong Kong Disneyland has facilities for wheelchair users.
The weather in Hong Kong is mild in the winter. In the summer, it is hot and humid. Dress accordingly for the outting. Check weather reports for rain. Disneyland logo rain gear are for sale. There are lockers in Main Street, USA to store extra gear.
There are various modes of transportation to the Hong Kong Disneyland. Private cars, taxis, boats, yachts and the Mass Transit Railway are just a few. Marinas and car parks are there for the Disneyland visitors’ convenience.
There are three Mass Transist Railway (MTR) lines which travel from distant points in Hong Kong. All lines end at the Sunny Bay station. At the Sunny Bay station, transfer to the Mass Transit Railway(MTR) Disneyland Resort Line Train. It will take the visitor directly to Hong Kong Disneyland’s entrance.
Get a pair of mouse ears while in Hong Kong Disneyland. Stop in and visit Minnie and Mickey Mouse and their friends. Go early in the day and enjoy the "happiest place on earth!"
