European Gigolo (2005) Rob Schneider, Eddie Griffin
Gigolo Deuce Bigalow goes undercover (no pun intended) to help find a murderer. He is trying to find out who is going around killing gigolos. There have been other movies concerning gigolos, the 1980 Richard Gere movie "American Gigolo" comes to mind. The difference between the two movies is that the Gere movie did have some style, "Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo" does not. This movie is the follow-up to "Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo" (1999). The first movie had a weak but fairly funny plot--an aquarium cleaner (Deuce) takes a temporary job of house and rare fish sitting for a wealthy gigolo. After damaging the house, he needs to make some quick money for repairs, so he decides to become a gigolo. Unfortunately, the follow-up movie has a very weak plot without the humor.

Rob Schneider reprises his role of Bigalow, fish tank cleaner/male prostitute or man-whore as second-rate pimp T. J. Hicks (Eddie Griffin) is so fond of saying (again and again and again). Circumstances make it necessary for Deuce to get out of the country quickly, by a lucky coincidence, his friend TJ calls, so he goes to visit him in Amsterdam. TJ's business is down because Amsterdam's male prostitutes are being killed. He gets Deuce to act as bait or a decoy to help find the murderer. He will 'date' the same women the latest victim did. There is the very big and tall woman who makes Deuce wear diapers and toddle like a one year old child and a woman who has had a laryngectomy, when she smokes the smoke is released from the hole in her neck into Deuce's face. When she drinks red wine it sprays from her the hole in her neck all over his clothing. His worst date has to be the woman was born with a male appendage instead of a nose (she keeps it covered) but while dancing with Deuce she becomes excited. There is more, but I won't mention it here.

The murderer is eventually found and of course is the least likely suspect. This movie is incredibly crude. There is one bad verbal and visual sex joke after another.

Rated R

American Gigolo, 1980 Also in the movier are Hector Elizondo, Nina Van Pallandt and veteran actor Macdonald Carey who appears as "a Hollywood actor."
