Let the fun begin. It looks like Lucas will be returning to Salem. He’s spent all of what, five months in prison for the attempted murder of EJ. There is no word yet as to why or how he gets out but it’s been rumored that he will be monitored via and ankle bracelet.
From what I’ve read, Lucas will be setting up residence at the DiMera mansion with Sami, EJ and the twins. Is this going to put a damper on EJ’s plans to win over Samantha or has he already succeeded in that.
Sami puts on a good front saying she wants to divorce EJ, she loves Lucas and can’t wait to be rid of EJ. Her mouth is saying one thing but her eyes and the rest of her body say something else. She’s upset at EJ taking on Nicole as a client. Sami keeps saying it’s because of her hatred of Nicole. Is that it or is it because she’s jealous and is afraid EJ will be attracted to Nicole? Whatever her real reason is I’m sure she’ll have a lot of explaining to do once Lucas comes back. I can’t wait to see her try to explain why she’s “pretending” to be EJ’s loving wife for the immigration authorities. I can picture EJ in the background with that little smirk of his watching her squirm.
The question still remains, which one will Sami choose? Will she choose her hearts desire, which I feel right now is EJ or will she listen to her brain which wants Lucas? I’m not sure even Sami knows what or should I say who she wants. Lucas is her past. He’s the father of two of her children. EJ’s exciting. He makes her blush and get all flustered with a single look or a word. She’s denying her attraction to him.
Another question that pops up, why hasn’t anybody called her on her actions? Everybody seems to accept her and EJ as a couple right now. They accept her explanation that she’s only with EJ to keep him from being deported. Marlena has mentioned to Sami that she thinks she has feeling for EJ but never really tried to make her realize what it is she really wants.
With the history of how things have been on this show I think we can expect to see another triangle here with two men fighting for Sami and being torn between her heart and her head.
