I was asked about why the sound is different on the Guiding Light opposed to other soap operas.
I noticed this problem as well, but with other televsion shows as well. They make different parts louder or quieter. Sometimes the shows are quiet and the commercials are loud.
I'm not sure why that happens. I can only advise that you keep your remote control handy!
