Ten year old Gabe (Josh Hutcherson) and eleven year old Rosemary (Charlie Ray) knew each other when they were in kindergarten. However, they haven't seen each other since then. When Macho Gabe, who still believes that girls have cooties, decides to take karate, he finds that Rosemary is taking the same class. This time, she's a little bit older and a lot prettier. The two befriend each other all over again, and Gabe begins to develop feeling for Rosemary. Watch Little Manhattan as Gabe's emotions land him in awkward and unusual moments of chivalry and uncertainty as he pursues the object of his affections.
