Floo Powder

Floo Powder is a popular mode of travel in the Harry Potter series. The Floo Powder Network allows a wizard to travel from one place to another in an instant. A pot of floo powder and a fireplace is needed. One travels from one grate to another. The Ministry of Magic monitors all travel by the Floo Powder Network.

The Floo Powder Network is a common mode of transportation in the wizard community. Harry Potter uses floo powder for the first time in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. The young wizard is to travel from the Weasley's Burrow to Diagon Alley. He misspeaks and finds himself in Borgin and Burkes.

Later, in the Harry Potter books, the Floo Powder Network is closed in an attempt to thwart travel by Harry Potter and wizards plotting Lord Voldemort's downfall.

How to use Floo Powder

1. Take a pinch of the glittering powder.

2. Throw in the flames.

3. Step in the fireplace.

4. Speak the desired destination clearly.

5. Travel.

Voila! You are there!

Remember this is only for wizards. Muggles are not to attempt to use Floo Powder or Portkey.

The following wand is plastic. Use it to place pretend spells on friends and family. Grant them happy times.
