Ride Now!

Ride Now!
RIDE NOW is a celebration of motorcycles, chrome and music that will be held over the weekend of September 17 and 18, 2005 in Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle.

The Los Angeles event will start at the Harley-Davidson Glendale on San Fernando Road. This is near the Glendale Memorial Hospital. Sign in begins at 10 am on September 18, 2005 with the ride starting at 11:30 am and ending about 1 pm in Calabassas at the Sagebrush Cantina.

The Cantina is supplying the food and entertainment for the post-ride party. There will be a raffle for a 2005 Harley-Davidson Sportster. Raffle tickets are $20 a piece with the first 200 registrants receiving a free raffle ticket. If you register by September 12, 2005 you will receive a bag of "Official Ride Gear".

RIDE NOW relies on volunteers to reduce costs and deliver more funds to autism research. Volunteers are needed to make the ride gear bags, register participants and set up on the day of the event. Sponsorships are also available for organizations, groups and families.

The registration fee covers both events - the ride and the party. "All riders and passengers will receive lunch; official RIDE NOW t-shirt, Cure Autism Now flag, commemorative pin and ONE raffle ticket to win a new Harley Davidson".

Riders going solo register for $35 and those with a passenger pay $45 with the passenger paying $35. If you only want to attend the after party the cost is $30 and you have to register at the site.

San Francisco and Seattle RIDE NOW takes place on Saturday, September 17, 2005. The Los Angeles and Chicago locations are on Sunday, September 18, 2005.

The Harley-Davidson Sportster excludes tax, title and license fees.
