Carb Watchers Dark Chocolate with Vanilla Cream
Healthy body individuals have chocolate cravings, just like all of us do. What keeps the healthy people healthy is that they choose 0g carb chocolates that are sugar free!
Carb Watchers is a brand of chocolate bar that has literally 0g of net carbs. The chocolates, made in Belgium, combine dark chocolate with a vanilla cream center. You get a chocolate bar about 6" long by 1" thick and 1" high, broken into squares. Each square has its own vanilla cream filling.
The way you get 0g of carbs is of course by having an artificial sweetener - so 8g of sugar alcohols. In this case it's maltitol. Yes, if you're sensitive to sugar alcohols, use caution. But for most of us, this is a delicious treat that keeps you going strong on your healthy lifestyle.
The chocolate is smooth and creamy - definitely far better than the average candy bar chocolate you buy at the market. It's not quite up to the scale of say Godiva, but heck, this is 0g we're talking about here. I enjoyed the center cream.
Highly recommended as an indulgent treat - but don't overdo it! Your general aim is to wean yourself off of a chocolate fixation, so that you don't eat lots of sugar-filled chocolate if you end up in a location that doesn't have low-sugar options. Still, if you crave chocolate, and want to keep your thighs and stomach toned, this is the bar for you!
