Levens Hall Topiary

Guest Author - Hellie T.

If you are interested in topiary then Levens Hall Garden is the place to visit.

The garden was started in 1694 and beside the fanastic topiary there is also a rose garden, some lovely herbaceous borders, and a fountain garden with some pleached limes.

The topiary is mainly yew or box and it has been clipped into some fanastic shapes.

Click here for some photos and for some really stunning photos of the topiary

Here is a lovely photograph showing long borders and one more showing a wonderful topiary tree and the flower beds edged with box.

Levens Hall is also meant to be haunted by several ghosts – read one of the reports here
