The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor – Brendan Frasier. This time Rick, Evelyn, and Jonathan go all the to Asia to fight a legendary Qin Emperor, played by Jet Li. Of course what they expect to find and what they come across are always two different things. Tricked into opening the tomb of this Emperor, Alex (the son of Rick and Evelyn played by Luke Ford) unwittingly unleashes a monster who wants to dominate and take over the world with the aid of his ten thousand soldiers who were entombed with their Emperor. It is up to Rick, Evelyn and their son to save the world and bring everything back to rights.
Here are the mistakes I found.
When Evelyn discovers there is a bullet in her mouth from the trout she is eating, it shows her pull it out of her mouth. In the very next scene it shows her from the left side of her face and she again pulls the bullet out of her mouth.
While in the museum, Choi grabs Evie and wraps his arm around her neck. It then shows Evie escaping from Choi’s lock around her neck. In the next scene it shows Choi with his arm around her neck again.
In the beginning of the movie it shows General Ming getting pulled to pieces by both arms and legs. Later on you can see that he has only lost his arm.
In this movie I find it a little strange that just because Alex has grown up he has totally lost his British accent. If you remember as a young boy in The Mummy Returns he clearly had an accent
In the scene when Alex and Lin are under the Emperor’s wagon while it is racing down the road, Alex turns himself around and is dragged down the street quite a distance. Lin makes it to the top side and then tries to pull Alex up. After she gets him up it shows that his shirt is shredded. In the next scene it shows Alex’s shirt unripped and completely in tact.
I have loved all of The Mummy movies and this one is no different. Of course I thought I would be disappointed when Rachel Weiss didn’t get to play Evie, but I think Maria Bello does an excellent job. If you haven’t seen these movies you’re missing out on a real treat.
