Worms World Party for N-Gage
I love the Worms series. If you remember the old cannon games where you adjust the angle of fire and let loose, this is the same idea - but 100 times funnier!
You set teams of "worms" against each other. They wiggle and hop across the cool landscapes - piles of books, abstract designs. They gather up a cool variety of weapons, including grenades, rocket launchers, and even the "pointy finger". Then it's turn based combat, to see who kills who first!
Half of the fun is the intriging commentary that you get. The worms call out things like "A donkey, a donkey, my kingdom for a donkey!" and taunt each other. In single player mode you can play team vs team, or go on missions where there's a specific goal in each one.
There's also cool multi-player action - both on the N-Gage itself and via the network. If you've got friends with N-Gages,
The graphics of the N-Gage might not be up to the standards of modern PSP systems, but they do quite nicely with this old style game. The sounds and voices come through nice in clear, in their traditional high, wormy voices. The controls are quite up to the task of hopping, walking, and firing away.
I love the worms game on the PC, and with this version you get to bring it with you. It's perfect for passing the time if you're waiting in line or riding on a bus. A fine addiction to your N-Gage library!
