Luna Rossa Ristorante Italiano Lake Las Vegas
Luna Rossa is a charming restaurant located inside Montelago Village, a commercial and residential development by Lake Las Vegas Resort in Henderson, Nevada. This resort is located on a tiny corner of Lake Meade... So luxury and speed boats line the docks.
Luna Rossa is a high-end Italian Restaurant, located on a beautiful corner of the MonteLago Village Resort just at the edge of Lake Las Vegas, in the heart of the village. The food is wonderful and the view is just about perfect.
You can enjoy your lunch or dinner by the lake with the view of “Ponte Vecchio Bridge”. Originally from Florence (a reproduction)it is very impressive. The one in Florence, Italy is lined with shops.
If you book a room at the Montelago Village Resort, ask for a 10% off coupon available at the desk.
What we ordered:
* Cosmopolotain - Really rather plain and unremarkable. The little bar is quite friendly. Near the entrance door a cool blast of outside air - or hot air if it is summer makes this a less than comfortable spot. The bar felt casual compaired to the dining area.
* Penne di Salmone Affumacato - Penne Pasta, Peas, Vodka Pink Sauce, Shallots. Very Good. Nice light flavor.
* Lasagna with Meat Sauce - Homemade pasta, rich meat sauce over roasted vegitables including zuchinni, eggplant, roasted garlic. Delicious.
* Tiramisu - I try this dessert at every Italian restaraunt I visit. This one was weak in flavor and texture. Mostly consisted of whipped cream. Cost $8.00
Presentation of food was good. Nice white table linens. We were seated near a window, which we would reccomend. The room is crowded with tables and about half are near the entrance to the kitchen. A window allows for breathing in the view in peace.
Service was very excellent.
The inside dining is noisy...I mean loud. Nice room, but not romantic.
