Honeyed Lemonade for Spicy FoodsMost people have a recipe secret. Mine is using Kool-Aid for my honeyed lemonade. When I was a child, there was always a pitcher of Kool-Aid in the fridge, it was usually red. I have found that a package of lemon Kool-Aid makes a refreshing drink for adults who think they have outgrown Kool-Aid. This is amazingly good with spicy foods. Ingredients 1 package of unsweetened Lemon Kool-Aid. 2 quarts of cold water 1-1/2 to 2 cups of honey Lemon slices as garnish Directions Mix all ingredients together. Pour over ice in tall slim glasses, place one slice of lemon in glass and and serve. Makes 6 to 8 servings. Hint *If you are having "no cook" dinner, try a bucket of spicy chicken and store bought potato salad. If you like hard cooked eggs in your salad, prepare a couple and mix into the salad. No heat in the kitchen and a pleasant summer meal. | Related Articles | Editor's Picks Articles | Top Ten Articles | Previous Features | Site Map
