Montelago Village Resort Lake Las Vegas Accomodations
MonteLago Village Resort is charming and quaint. The village with cobblestone streets full of shops and fine dining is unusual for the desert southwest.
MonteLago Village Resort offers beautifully condominiums filled with all the comforts of home but with many luxurious amenities, all in a Mediterranean resort atmosphere.
You can choose from studios or one-, two- and three-bedroom condos. Fully-equipped kitchens (studios have kitchenettes) are in all rooms. The dishes and other necessary eating utencils as well as cooking utensils were sparce, but adequate unless you were planning on cooking full meals.
All the units are individually owned so their is a locked pantry like cabinet in each unit. I imagine the owners keep more extensive equipment and things like spices in this cabinet.
Spacious living/dining areas are nice and cozy. The french doors in the living area open right onto the balcony...enlarging the living space almost double.
Private balconies and patios on ground level are fully furnished. The view from our room was less than I would have wished for. I had to lean way out to get this photograph of what little view we had. If you sat down... no view.
The bedroom is nice, but felt small with the very large pillow top bed. The bath was gorgeous, felt like a spa. I do wish I had granite like this in my bath! :)
Each suite also offers high-speed Internet access, DVD players and conveniences such as irons and hair dryers.
A one night stay is not enough to enjoy the luxurious accomodations and village atmosphere. Plan to stay at least over the weekend.
