God loves us and he cares for us. Because he loved us, he gave his only begotten Son for us. That is true love. How many of us would give up our own child or for some, our pet, to save someone that we don’t have a connection to? Would we give our first born up to save people that we know are committing all kinds of sins? If given the opportunity, that same person will lie, steal, and kill without any remorse?
This is what God did for us. He gave his son, whom he loved and cherished dearly, to suffer and die on the cross to save the world. Even though he sent his Son on a mission to save souls from the burning pits of hell, he knew that he was not loosing his son. His plan included the resurrection.
One Sunday morning, Jesus rose from the grave with all power in his hands. We can trust God because he first loved us. The same power that Jesus possessed as he walked the earth, as well as the same power that he possessed when he conquered sickness and death, lies within you. You have power. According to Luke 10:19, Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy; and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
We have to learn to trust God in all that we do. We often times trust our friends, family, a job, the bank, etc., but we have a hard time trusting the one who really matters – God. He holds the key to your healing, joy, peace, and prosperity.
What’s the catch? You have to Trust God. Trust God with everything. If you don’t know him, say this simple prayer out loud: Heavenly Father, come into my life. I make you my Lord and Savior. Forgive me of my sins. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen. If you have said this simple prayer, then you are saved! Trust God because he loves you.
