Before you say “BORING” and move on, think about it. Do your twins have enough toys, clothes, and other “stuff”? In our case, the answer is yes because we have four older children who have passed down their books, toys, and clothes, many in very good condition, to our twins. Beginning a 529 College Plan for each of your twins, and encouraging family members to contribute to it, either instead of a gift or in addition to a small gift, can add up over the years. Shape Sorting Set

My twins love playing with shape sorter sets together. They can stack the blocks or put them into the right holes. A good “parallel play” toy!


Learn & Groove Musical Table

Again, my twins love this toy! One can play on one side while the other plays across from him or next to him. They entertain each other and laugh together, giving Mom a chance to pour herself another cup of coffee!

Twin to Twin

A rhyming book that details the daily activities of a set of twins. Darling! The twins are androgynous, so it works for any set of twins.

A VeggieTales Christmas (The Toy That Saved Christmas and The Star of Christmas)
This VeggieTales video is more appropriate for older toddlers who can follow a story. This set includes both VeggieTales Christmas videos. VeggieTales videos are all excellent, in my opinion, because they are hilarious for both kids and adults, and teach lessons about good citizenship and spirituality at the same time.
