Chocolate Banana Sticks
Guest Author - Lisa Babick

Mango Crab Stacks

This is a kid's recipe that I love. They're almost like frozen bananas, only better. These are so good, they'd make a great dessert for a buffet or picnic.

1-12 ounce package semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped peanuts
2 bananas, cut into 1-inch pieces
Toothpicks

1. Place the chocolate chips in a small saucepan on low heat and melt, stirring constantly until smooth.
2. Line a baking sheet with wax paper or aluminum foil.
3. Place the peanuts in a small mixing bowl and set aside.
4. Skewer each piece of banana with a toothpick and dip into the chocolate. Roll the banana in the chocolate until completely coated. Then, roll the chocolate-covered banana in the peanuts.
5. Place the coated banana on the baking sheet.
6. Repeat process until all banana pieces have been dipped.
7. Freeze bananas 1 hour before serving.
