How Action Fits Into Attraction
What are you doing? And how are you doing it? Although thinking in a specific way is the most essential aspect of thinking your way rich, it’s also necessary for you to act in a specific way too.
A strong, clear vision helps attract the perfect people, things and circumstances to show up in your life. Plus, it will guide you to intuitively know what’s necessary to reach your goals. But actions are necessary to accomplish anything worthwhile. Even if your aim is to achieve ultimate enlightenment and you plan to spend a lifetime meditating in a cave on a mountain top, you’re still in action - the ACT of meditation.
When it comes to getting rich, your thinking is not going to cause money to just drop out of the sky onto your head. (Well, maybe – if you’re really enlightened, but humans haven’t reached that state yet.)
You spend the majority of every day in action – doing something. To think your way rich, all of your actions must be purposeful and performed to the very best of your ability. No matter what actions you’re taking, you need to learn to do everything you do as efficiently and effectively as possible.
You’ve probably heard the story of the man who prayed to God to win the lottery. He prayed and prayed and finally, after months of no results, the man started questioning the validity of prayer. “God,” he said, “I’ve prayed and prayed and still haven’t won the lottery. I’m losing confidence in you - prayer must not work.” God replied in a thunderous tone, “I could get my job done, if you’d only go out and buy a lottery ticket!”
So, although your thoughts are the foundation, your actions are the building tools. Thought attracts what you want to you, but your actions allow you to receive it. And, all of your actions are important. Whatever you’re doing, whether it’s folding laundry or handling a major sales negotiation, make sure you’re consciously doing whatever you’re doing as purposefully as possible.
During leisure time focus on strengthening your vision. But, when you’re in action, keep your focus on efficiently and effectively performing the task at hand.
