Beauty Trends for Ethnic Beauties
Every year brings with it trends that are sure to peak your interest. This year is no different ethnic beauties. We begin our list with:
"Healthy" Makeup - With all the vegan and clean eating enthusiasts, it's no wonder that the need, interest and momentum for a better source of makeup is emerging. As more of you transition into the world of vegan eating and lifestyle in general, it also means you're tweaking your beauty regimens. You're swapping out animal-tested products for a "cleaner" cruelty-free version of what exist on the market.
Vegan. That means your product must not contain any animal by products and that includes beeswax, honey carmine and lanolin. Go figure! You're making your request known to the beauty industry and guess what? They're listening!
Cutting the Sugar from your Diet - Are you serious? Lets face it, we all know that sugar can wreck havoc on your skin not to mention your entire body. As good as it taste, it's the worst thing you can eat. An herbalist once told me that sugar is worse on your body than Heroin. That’s a hard pill to swallow. It can cause inflammation, which leads to premature aging. It's the reason a lot of us are having that midday slump and crash.
It's been said that you can see a difference in as little as 9 days after you stop eating sugar, this includes high-fructose corn syrup. You'll begin to see an increase in your metabolism in less than two weeks. Your body converts fructose into fat, but doesn't recognize that you’ve eaten it. This means that your craving doesn't go away. That's scary.
Matcha - This is a finely milled green tea that's chocked full of natural antioxidants and minerals that are known to boost the radiance of your skin. Matcha green tea is a super antioxidant that not only has internal benefits but helps keep your skin looking vibrant and radiant. You'll find matcha in everything from moisturizers, to toners, mask and balms.
These are three of the hottest trends to date. You'll see more coming on the scene as you make your interest known.
That's it for this week! As always ...
