Smelling Good! Just in Time for the Holidays
We've come full circle and find ourselves at yet another holiday season. Knowing this, what's the most trusted gift you can give? Welllll, we've been convinced that anything scented is a winner and while this holds true for some, it doesn't always work for others.
However, since perfumes, body products and scented candles will top the list, let's take a look at some of the blends making their way to the register.
1. Olympéa Eau de Parfum - You can thank Paco Rabanne for this beauty. He found a natural chemistry between vanilla and a host of floral notes. Mandarin, ginger and jasmine compose the top notes, salted vanilla, steps up to the middle and sandalwood, cashmere and ambergris set the foundation for such a luscious blend.
2. My Burberry Eau de Parfum - You just might find this one sold out. If you happen to be one of the luck ones, you'll enjoy the beauty of sweet pea and bergamot as top notes, geranium, golden quince and freesia as middle notes and patchouli, damask and centifolia rose as base notes. It’s been described as capturing the fragrance of a London garden after the rain. Wow!
3. 'Decadence - Gold' Eau de Parfum - What better accessory to add to your Marc Jacob collection than this wood and aromatic fragrance. Topping it off with Italian plum, iris flower and saffron while middle notes of Bulgarian rose, jasmine samba and orris enhance it’s aroma and vetiver, papyrus woods and liquid amber set the foundation as it’s base. The base notes alone bring to mind sultry nights and sensual decadence.
4. Flowerbomb - Flowerbomb has been their creation of floral explosion and profusion of flowers that make everything around you so much more positive. With notes of bergamot, tea, freesia, jasmine, orange blossom, orchid rose and patchouli. Flowerbomb is an exquisite perfume blend.
It's amazing how different perfume can smell from one person to the next. My husband spritz this onto his neck and did it have a sexy smell. He was questioning me as to why some blends for women smell better on men. We’ve tested it and he can wear most of the perfumes for women better than I can and they don’t smell feminine. His body chemistry takes each blend and turns them into a custom smelling perfume blend for him. Go figure!
I know just when you thought you had your holiday gift giving ideas taken care of. It won’t change your list, they will just enhance what you’ve already put in place. Put your name on one of them and see what you think. That's it for this week!
