The letter A:
CH 10 rw

CH 4 - 9

CH 8 - 7 + (join to center of first ring) 10 rw, 17 - 9, + (join at last rw) and secure ends.
The letter B:
R 10 - 6 clr dnrw
CH 13 vsp *(down picot) 8
* for the down picot just slip a pin over the core thread to hold the space for later joining.
R 6 - 6 clr dnrw
CH 12 - 8 rw
R 6 + (join to vsp) 6
CH 10 - 16 + **(join to 4 ds from first ring), 9 secure ends.
** since no specific picot was prepared for this join, wiggle the crochet hook or the point of your shuttle between double stitch 4 and 5 and make a shuttle lock join.
The letter C:
