Ghostbusters (2016)
Erin Gilbert only wants to keep her job as a teacher at a renowned college. But that plan comes crashing down when her paranormal enthusiast past comes back to haunt her. Reteaming with her old pal, Abby Yates, and bringing on board the quirky engineer, Jillian Holtzmann, and New York transit worker, Patty Tolan, as well as, Kevin, a not to bright receptionist, the group find themselves investigating the paranormal activity that is running rampant through the city. Here are a few movie mistakes to look for while watching 2016’s “Ghostbusters”.

∙ Near the beginning of the movie, Erin, Abby and Jillian go to Aldridge Mansion to investigate paranormal activity. When they first notice the basement door, Jillian has a Pringles chip can under her left arm. She’s still holding the can when the ghost immerges and Erin ties to talk to it. Jillian’s hands are at her mouth, eating chips, when Erin gets slimed. It cuts to a wider view of the three of them and Jillian’s hands are down in front of her while the Pringles can is on the floor at her feet.

∙ The woman run out of Aldridge Mansion and Erin and Abby embrace. In the close-up, slime gets on Abby’s right shoulder and chest. But, in the wider view, the slime is gone.

∙ Erin is walking down the hallway after being fired from the college. After she passes Phil, a rear view of her shows her passing a dark haired boy with glasses who looks at her. The scene cuts to a front view of her and the dark haired boy with glasses passes her again.

∙ While Patty is showing the others where she saw the ghost in the subway, she’s wearing her “Patty” necklace which dangles straight near her neck. When she says “hey ladies, while you’re over there making out with that dirty piece of garbage”, the necklace is backwards on her. A few seconds later, the necklace is back to its original view.

“Ghostbusters” (2016) stars Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, Neil Casey and Chris Hemsworth. It runs 116 minutes and is rated PG-13 for supernatural action and some crude humor.
