A First Date with Death Review

A First Date with Death Review
Fired from her job as a public information officer for the local police department, dumped by her fiancé, Georgia Thornton decided to become a participant in a reality show called Love or Money. Wanting to heal from a broken heart, Georgia hoped to find her dream man among the ten prospects to see if she could find a winner, or at the least win some much-needed money.

The concept of the show was to have her find a man who was emotionally ready for a relationship and was interested in love. Five guys were searching for love and five were only after the money. Ultimately, through a series of action-filled dates with each candidate, she had to decide which one she wanted to marry.

When tragedy struck the show George believed her reality stint was over, but her producers insisted on continuing the adventure due to high ratings. Georgia wasn’t only angry that the show was still taping, but that they had created a shocking twist at her expense. When another tragedy threatened to end the show, Georgia decided to take action and undertake her own investigation before any more innocent lives are lost.

A First Date with Death, a Love or Money Mystery, is the first in a new series written by Diana Orgain, author of the popular Maternal Instincts Mysteries.

The unique mystery focuses on a young woman who has lost her job and her fiancé, and is trying to get her life back on track. Fast-paced with a surprise on almost every page gives readers a whirlwind cozy experience that will have them wanting to spend more time with the saucy young heroine.

The author keeps the pace, the humor, and the occasional pratfall throughout the story. Don’t be surprised when you spontaneously laugh out loud at the antics despite the sometimes unexpected deaths.

Surprisingly, the number of characters is not a problem here. The author deftly keeps readers on track, preventing the usual confusion problematic in many books.

This new series leads the way to further stories focused on love or money, topics that are wide-open to more fun and daring adventures. We are definitely looking forward to more stories in this series.
